Stab
Formed in February 2016, Stab/JG 1 acts as a headquarters unit for the entire geschwader. Stab/JG 1 is also a combat element, flying as a StabSchwarm (staff flight).
I. Gruppe
Formed in July 2013, virtual I.Gruppe Jagdgeschwader 1 (I./JG 1) is currently composed of Czech and Slovakia-based pilots.
II. Gruppe
Formed in December 2001, virtual II.Gruppe Jagdgeschwader 1 (II./JG 1) is currently composed of North American-based pilots.
III. Gruppe
Formed in April 2014, virtual III.Gruppe Jagdgeschwader 1 (III./JG 1) is currently composed of European-based pilots.
