Yup, the rumors are true!
JG 1 “Oesau” is currently working on bringing a full scale “dead-is-dead” online tournament to the IL-2 Great Battles WW2 community. Structured similarly to Flanders In Flames, while at the same time pulling in inspiration from the fondly remembered Ghost Skies event, this new tournament is being dubbed Europe In Flames (EIF).
While Europe In Flames is still in development, we’re hoping to be able to roll out new features like player-controlled ground war elements, a moving front-line, and the intense air combat you’ve come to expect.
